Biostimulators are an emerging trend in face & skin rejuvenation. A collagen biostimulator consists of a substance that is injected into the deep dermis, the middle layer of the skin. Once injected the substance will stimulate collagen production for an extended period of time and is a good alternative to hyaluronic dermal fillers for certain patient presentations. On this course you will learn theory and techniques to treat the most commonly treated areas of the face with complete safety and confidence. You will cover: Anatomy review Product mode of action for two of the TGA registered biostimulators Consultation & assessment Expected outcomes Common side-effects Complication and adverse event management After-care You will be shown new and trending techniques such as: Collagen wash through dilution methods Global volume restoration Temporal restoration Facial areas covered during course: Mid-face Cheekbones Nasolabial folds Temples Preauricular region Jaw line Chin You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience performing these techniques on live models with the guidance and supervision of our highly experienced aesthetic practitioners in a purpose built facility and using TGA approved products from Galderma and Austramedex.    ​ Note: It is required that you are an AHPRA registered Medical/Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse.
